As part of Trouw Nutrition GB’s commitment to creating a positive impact beyond the workplace, the company launched a large-scale Community Day to bring colleagues together through purposeful action.

The initiative was designed to strengthen local connections, support local causes, and give employees the opportunity to collaborate outside their usual roles. By stepping into their communities, colleagues not only made a tangible difference but also reinforced Trouw Nutrition’s values of sustainability, wellbeing, and shared responsibility.

The project

As part of their company-wide Community Day, Trouw Nutrition GB teams supported local schools, charities, and community groups through a series of hands-on projects, including:

  • Improving school playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces
  • Refurbishing community centres and shared facilities
  • Supporting animal welfare charities with repairs and maintenance
  • Enhancing local green spaces for residents and visitors

Each project met real community needs and gave colleagues the chance to work together while strengthening connections across the region.

From gardening and painting to building sheds, laying paths, walking dogs, and offering companionship, the activities were as diverse as they were impactful. Beyond the tangible contributions to the community, the day also fostered cross-functional collaboration and reinforced our shared values.
